Plasma technology differs from other display systems in as much as here in each pixel a source of light is produced. Between the flat glass panels loaded electrodes cause tiny explosions of xenon gas, which cause an ultraviolet light radiation, which for its part produces red, green and blue phosphorus light at the screen back. We may not know what that means, but we love the picture and so will you!!
