The Maxell iVDR VC102 / IVDRVC102 CitiDisk Adapter®and iVDR EX250 Drive can help you keep those tape based cameras in service for many years to come. The combined devices (shown at left) eliminate the time consuming step of ingesting footage into your non-linear editing (NLE) system. Recording is initiated by the camera's “REC” button, streaming data directly into the miniature high performance hard drive. Data may also record directly onto a tape cassette simultaneously if loaded in the camera. An embedded a state-of-the-art rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery within the VC102 is good for 90 minutes of recording. Ancillary power can be added from external DC sources like a battery pack (BPKT21865) or a power adapter; ranging from DC +6V to +18V. A slow re-charge current may also be drawn from a FireWire bus, when available.
There are a several mounting options available to secure your VC102 onto the camera; a handle mount, tripod mount, “V” mount or “GOLD PIN” battery mount.
