Q: Can I buy my Projector from anywhere, and then get a Mack Warranty from TapeWorks Texas?
A: Yes, as long as your unit has a manufacturer's warranty to begin with, and you have a receipt with the model number, pricing, date, etc.
Q: How long after I purchase my Projector can I get a Mack Warranty?
A: You have 30 days from the date of purchase to purchase your Mack Warranty from TapeWorks Texas.
Q: I am right at my 30 days, can I still get a Mack Warranty from TapeWorks Texas?
A: Though it makes it easier for everyone involved if you do not wait until the last minute, we can still make it happen for you. Q: When does the Projector Warranty Begin?
A: It will begin AFTER the manufacturer's warranty for your unit.
Q: When does bulb coverage begin and end?
A: Bulb coverage, if purchased, begins from the DATE OF PURCHASE in all cases, and lasts for 3 years from that point, and allows you up to 2 replacements of the bulb if necessary, regardless of the price of the bulb/lamp.
Q: Can I purchase JUST the Bulb Coverage?
A: No, the bulb coverage must be purchased in conjunction with a warranty covering the unit as a whole also.
Q: What information do I need to give TapeWorks Texas when I purchase a warranty?
A: Only your name, address, phone, email, and payment information will be required at that time. The other details - TV model, serial number, etc - will be given to Mack after you receive your warranty cards in the mail.
Q: How to you ship the warranty certificates?
A: via the U.S. Postal Service First Class Mail.
Q: Is MACK a reliable company?
A: Mack has been in business for nearly 70 years, and I feel that says a lot about how they treat their customers, because you don't stay in business that long if you are abusing your customers. TapeWorks Texas has been relying on Mack for warranty services for years, and they are a great group of people.
Q: What is covered or not covered with a Mack Warranty for my TV?
A: Mack covers all Manufacturer's Defects. Accidental damage from abuse is not covered. If something fails on the Projector, Mack will restore it to Manufacturer's specifications.
Q: Who will work on my Projector if there is a problem?
A: What you should keep in mind about this warranty is that your Projector will be worked on by the EXACT SAME PEOPLE as if you had no warranty at all and decided to call an authorized service center near to you to get your Projector repaired on your own. The only difference is that Mack will be paying the bill instead of you, if you have the warranty. It will be worked on by the EXACT SAME PEOPLE that would perform service on the Projector during the original manufacturer's warranty period as well. Mack uses the nearest authorized service center to you for the product you own to service your Projector.
