The new Kramer VM-2DVI-R is one of the Kramer DigiTOOLS™ family of high quality digital products in small enclosures. The machine is a 1:2 distribution amplifier for DVI-D (Digital) signals. The VM-2DVI-R is a technologically advanced distribution amplifier supporting the DDWG DVI 1.0 standard. This allows a bandwidth of 1.65 Gbits/s, making it compatible with the distribution of signals having resolutions up to UXGA including all HDTV formats.  

High resolution DVI signals are very sensitive to cable quality and to PCB layout. The VM-2DVI-R uses a carefully designed PCB and includes all buffering, conditioning and amplifying circuitry to provide two top-notch output signals. The built in recolcking block re-generate the DVI signal, so that several units of this distribution amplifier may be cascaded. The VM-2DVI is housed in a small Kramer DigiTOOLS™ enclosure, and is 12VDC fed.
