FAQ FOR CPS WARRANTIES FROM TAPEWORKS TEXAS:

Q: Can I buy my TV from anywhere, and then get a CPS Warranty from TapeWorks Texas?
A: Yes, as long as your unit has a manufacturer's warranty to begin with, and you have a receipt with the model number, pricing, date, etc.

Q: How long after I purchase my TV can I get a CPS Warranty?
A: You have until your TV has 90 days remaining on the manufacturer's warranty to purchase your CPS Warranty from TapeWorks Texas.

Q: When does the TV Warranty Begin?
A: It will begin AFTER the manufacturer's warranty for your unit.

Q: What information do I need to give TapeWorks Texas when I purchase a warranty?
A: Only your name, address, phone, email, and payment information will be required at that time. The other details - TV model, serial number, etc - will be given to CPS after you receive your warranty cards in the mail via USPS First Class Mail.

Q: Is CPS a reliable company?
A: CPS has been in business for 12 years.  They have a good reputation.

Q: May I transfer my service plan to another person?
A: Yes.  They are 100% transferable.  If you would like to transfer ownership of the covered product along with its coverage, CPS requires that the request be supplied in writing to CPS.

Q: What is covered or not covered with a CPS Warranty for my TV?
A: CPS covers all Manufacturer's Defects. Accidental damage from abuse is not covered. If something fails on the TV, CPS will restore it to Manufacturer's specifications.

Q: Who will work on my TV if there is a problem?
A: CPS works with over 11,000 authorized service professionals.  Each technician is extensively trained by the respective manufacturers to provide service on your products.  Authorized technicians must complete annual and bi-annual continued education exams in addition to being well versed in manufacturer supplied update bulletins to insure their level of  expertise is as current as the new products which come to market.

Q: When choosing the price category for my TV, should I include the tax, shipping, and other charges?
A: No, only the TV INVOICE PRICE should be used in calculating which warrranty price category you will need.
